I'll put it on the agenda. We don't have to spend time on it, but
the minutes should reflect that it was handled at the 26 April 2016
TC meeting.

think not?), or should I just add it to the errata list?

Subject: *Minor*
Error in DITA 1.3 ditavelref Example Code
I have been doing some research on
ditavalref, and noticed what I believe to be a minor error in
the explanation as to how the code will run.
The section is: "2.4.4.6.2 Example:
Multiple <ditavalref> elements on a branch" (http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/dita/v1.3/os/part1-base/archSpec/base/example-multiple-ditavalref.html).
When explaining what will happen
during processing in the first example, it says that between
"do-stuff.dita" and "cleanup.dita" there are "...more topics and
nested branches...". But the thing is, there are no other topics
referenced in the source code listed in Figure 1. The same
applies to the subsequent MacOS and Linux branches.
In the original proposal (https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/51653/13059a-BranchFilter-Stage3.html) there *is* a line after the topicref
for "do-stuff.dita" that says:
<!-- more topics and nested
branches -->
But this line is omitted in the
example in the final spec, which is what throws off the
explanations.
It is *minor* error, but it took me
a couple of readings and a double-check of the proposal before I
confirmed my suspicion.
Something else to add to the errata.
Cheers!
