3. Announcements.
Tahzoo will get membership so that Bob Johnson can participate.

4. Action Items
* COMPLETED. Eliot: Develop example for using object element for an iFrame.
Eliot developed an example for the object element. Kris will review this afternoon and send any questions.
* COMPLETED. Scott: Comb through dita-users and dita-comment lists for names of people who might be good fits for the TC.
Scott didn?t find anyone eager to join.
* Scott: See what other ServiceNow folks would be interested in being DITA TC members. Scott will bring it up at todays architects meeting, but not getting the sense that anyone else is interested in volunteering at the TC level.
* Gershon had a few people who were interested and sent a list to Rob Hanna. Should have one or two additional people from Precision Content after the summer break.
* Zoe sent the name of Chris P to Kristen.
* Kris action items. She spend her time last week on #15. Will spend her time this week working on action item.

5. Review of DITA 2.0 proposal deadlines
* Robert working on only stage 2 proposal
* Remove classification domain for vote today.
* Loosening specialization rules: Getting closer to finishing review of proposals. #15 has a profound affect on the spec so needed more in depth review. Proposal has two chapters of the spec attached with revision markings rather than old/new content approach due to the profound changes.

6. DITA 2.0 stage three proposals
* Vote on Issue #647: Remove classification domain and add new attribute (https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/202207/msg00009.html)
* Kris moved to approve. Seconded by Eliot.
* Roll call vote: Yes by Dawn Stevens, Eliot Kimber, Gershon Joseph, Kristen Eberlein, Scott Hudson, Stan Doherty, and Zoe Lawson. Eric Sirois left the meeting before the vote.

7. DITA 2.0 spec and generalization (https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/202207/msg00025.html)
? Stan would like to learn more about generalization
? Eric uses generalization when migrating client from specialization to base DITA content model
? Gershon volunteered to take point on rewrite of content, but the committee needs to determine what should and shouldn?t be included.
? Per Eliot, generalization not applicable to the discussion about extension modules because the generalization is a quality of DITA not markup declaration.
? Generalization allows an element to use the ancestors of another element.
? Transformation process applied to content to produce generalized content.
? When designing you have to ensure that your expansion design, when generalized, is valid with DITA. Eliot objects to this statement because it focused on generalization rather than DITA base rules.
? Content in 1.3 spec is in the wrong place or no longer relevant. Might be time to retire content that is no longer relevant.
? Kris doesn?t think the content on generalization has been changed and asks everyone to review.
? ACTION ITEM: Gershon will look at the generalization content and send an email to the list based on today?s discussion. Everyone else can respond.

8. Planning future DITA 2.0 spec reviews (https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/202207/msg00027.html)
? After #15 is approved the committee can move forward on config, specialization, etc and coding practices.
? Kris asked who can plan to be reviewer based on interests.
? Review to occur after #15 is approved.
? Gershon volunteered to be a reviewer on all the topics.
? Zoe would like to know more so would like to review from the perspective of a novice. Kris will provide guidance on the target audiences? expertise so that feedback is focused.
? Dawn will read it and have Brianna read it.
? Elliot wrote the original so will review it. Kris commented that there were substantial rewrites for DITA 1.3, so both she and Eliot should be considered the authors.
? Stan will review.
? Scott will review with focus on the relaxNG and constraints areas.
? Split reviews for config/spec and coding practices and make the review periods longer due to the complexity of content.
? Gershon says better to review chapter as a whole so inconsistencies aren?t missed.
? Kris asks that everyone review content in current draft spec.
? Major changes between 1.3 and 2.0 as introduction of expansion has significant changes.
? The 1.3 spec included constrain examples that used DTD, but not relaxNG. Kris authored examples over the last few years with help from Eliot.

9. Volunteer tasks
* Eliot tasked with writing detailed list of cleanup to include in list of changes for what?s new between 1.3 and 2.0 migration notes. Should include description of change, meeting where change was proposed, and whether code changes have been made. Eliot started working on migration committee notes which included close comparison of 1.3 and 2.0 grammar files to see what changed and tried to capture a prose description of what the changes were. Has converted ServiceNow documentation to 2.0 with good success. Kris has also had success migrating clients content to DITA 2.0.
* Scott to review people and company names. Will do this week.
