Subject: FW: Proposal for new GitHub wiki for TC work (was: RE: Wiki pages that I used frequently)
Please find below the result of a discussion between Christina and me about the new TC wiki organization. f. From: Wegmann, Frank
Hi Kris and Robert. Christina and I have discussed organizing the Wiki taking your valuable list as a starting point. We thought about giving it a more structure than what was possible on the old Wiki, and identified three larger areas:
And there is of course the âHelpful Linksâ page where we could not really get our heads around where to best put it. So the following layout below is basically the result of our meeting. Note that every item on that list has its own page. Iâm sure there are details to tweak,
but maybe Robert and you see some sense in it: - Home (with the agenda of the current meeting) - TC Meetings - Action items - Previous agendas - Agenda backlog - Helpful links (or at the bottom...?) - DITA 2.0 ("all about the spec work itself") - Reviews - Base Spec - Technical Content Spec - Work items
- Base Spec - Technical Content Spec - Spec Assignments - "Editor's Corner" - Agenda for editor's call - Editorial work completed - Editorial backlog - Stylesheet backlog There is the second step of actually getting that structure to work, but letâs get clear about step one first. Christina, is there anything that I forgot? Any further remarks from your side? See you next week then, f.
