Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: XML stylesheet question - overriding title on titlepage
Greetings, Under version 1.24 of the stylesheet package, I had this working. Upgrading to 1.29, it seems to have broken. Or maybe my solution was broken to begin with and only now being revealed. I'm trying to override various attributes on the titlepage, including author, copyright and title. The first two are working as I'd expect, but my title override is being ignored. This works: <xsl:template match="author" mode="titlepage.mode"> <fo:block font-size="14pt" font-weight="bold" text-align="center" font-family="sans-serif"> <xsl:call-template name="person.name"/> </fo:block> <xsl:apply-templates mode="titlepage.mode" select="affiliation"/> </xsl:template> I get the following output in file.fo: <fo:block> <fo:block font-family="sans-serif" text-align="center" font-weight="bold" font-size="14pt">Liza Daly</fo:block> </fo:block> However, the same principle applied to the title does not: <xsl:template match="title" mode="titlepage.mode"> <fo:block font-size="20pt" font-weight="bold" space-before.optimum="8em" font-family="sans-serif" text-align="center" padding-bottom="8em"> <xsl:apply-templates mode="titlepage.mode"/> </fo:block> </xsl:template> In file.fo, I get: <fo:block font-family="Helvetica" font-weight="bold" font-size="24.8832pt" keep-with-next="always" margin-left="-4pc"> <fo:block>Title</fo:block> </fo:block> Am I going about this the wrong way, or is there a bug? (I'm processing with Xalan 1.2.2) Thanks, --Liza -- Liza Daly Senior Technical Analyst Digitas Inc. ldaly@digitas.com
