Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: Registered Trademark as Superscript
Hi! I'm using the DocBook style sheets 1.70 in conjunction with JadeTeX 3.10. My DSSSL customization layer contains: (element trademark (make sequence ($charseq$) (cond ((equal? (attribute-string "class") (normalize "copyright")) (literal "\copyright-sign;")) ((equal? (attribute-string "class") (normalize "registered")) ($ss-seq$ + (literal "\registered-sign;"))) ((equal? (attribute-string "class") (normalize "service")) ($ss-seq$ + (literal "SM"))) (else (literal "\trade-mark-sign;"))))) I changed the definition for class="registered" to read ($ss-seq$ + (literal "\registered-sign;"))) in order to get a superscript Registered Trademark sign. This approach works nicely for the main text. In tables, however, the sign is NOT shown in superscript. It is aligned to the baseline of the current font instead. Why is this the case? Is it a JadeTeX bug? Thanks for any advice! Regards, Holger
