Subject: Re: DOCBOOK-APPS: Suppressing page breaks
/ Rick Bronson <rick@viclink.com> was heard to say: | norm, | | Sorry, DSSSL (print), Docbook 4.1, dsssl-1.71, jadetex 3.11. I thought it was going to be easy, then I realized it's going to be quite tricky. In order to get proper page-break functionality (odd pages, new headers and footers, etc.), all of the book components are rendered in their own page sequences. In order to avoid the page break that this implies, you'll have to rework the ($component$) function to not produce a new page sequence and you'll have to rework all the division level things to add an appropriate page sequence. Be seeing you, norm -- Norman Walsh <ndw@nwalsh.com> | Always do one thing less than you http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/ | think you can do.--Bernard Baruch Chair, DocBook Technical Committee |
