Subject: Re: DOCBOOK-APPS: roman and arabic page numbers
Thanks for the tip. I upgraded to jadetex 3.11, openjade 1.3, docbook-style-dsssl 1.73, and docbook-utils 0.6.9. db2pdf uses roman numerals for everything before the first chapter, but db2ps stops when trying to convert TeX to DVI: Using catalogs: /etc/sgml/sgml-docbook-4.1.cat Using stylesheet: /usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6.9/docbook-utils.dsl#print Working on: /home/tfox/test/mytest/testing.sgml This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.3.1) (testing.tex JadeTeX 2001/07/19: 3.11 (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/psnfss/t1ptm.fd) Elements will be labelled Jade begin document sequence at 20 (testing.aux) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/cyrillic/t2acmr.fd) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/ts1cmr.fd) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/hyperref/nameref.sty) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/psnfss/t1ppl.fd) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/psnfss/t1phv.fd) [1] [2] (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/psnfss/ts1ppl.fd) [3] [4] (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/psnfss/t1pcr.fd) [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] <./figs/testing.eps> [13] [14] [15] [16] <./figs/testing2.eps> [17] Underfull \hbox (badness 1168) in paragraph at lines 4850--4861 []\T1/ppl/m/n/10 For more in-for-ma-tion on NTP, read the NTP doc-u-men-ta-tio n avail-able in the <./figs/testing3.eps> [18] [19] [20] [21] [22] Underfull \hbox (badness 10000) in paragraph at lines 5760--5760 [][]\T1/ppl/m/n/10 ch-intro.html#S1-INTRO- [23] ! I don't know much about tex or dvi, but I have seen similar errors that still allow the dvi to ps conversion. Any ideas? Thanks, Tammy On Sun, Oct 28, 2001 at 11:52:23AM +0100, Juan R.
