Subject: RE: [docbook-apps] htmlhelp.encoding="windows-932" and Saxon
Actually, I see this very topic has been discussed on the Saxon list a few days ago. Should have checked there first (and RTFM). Using a cleaner test environment, with the customization layer you provide below and the 1.60.1 xsls, I get: dcramer@myrmecine /cygdrive/c/workhead/docmodules/mary/stage/godwin/chm/test $ java -cp .../../../../../doctools/1.0/Saxon/6.5/javavm/release/enus/saxon.jar com.icl.saxon.StyleSheet fradjusted.frankenhelp.xml .../../../../../doctools/1. 0/DocShared/xsl/docbook/xhtml/test.xsl Writing pr01s02.html for section Failed to load Shift_JIS Failed to load Shift_JIS Writing pr01s03.html for section Failed to load Shift_JIS Failed to load Shift_JIS ... Try: <xsl:param name="htmlhelp.encoding" select="'Shift_JIS'"/> <xsl:param name="default.encoding" select="'Shift_JIS'"/> <xsl:param name="saxon.character.representation" select="'native'"/> <xsl:param name="chunker.output.encoding" select="'Shift_JIS'"/> in your customization layer. I'm using xsltproc, but I remember trying Saxon earlier on. I think it worked with Saxon as well. Incidentally, for Japanese help, I also have the following set: <xsl:param name="l10n.gentext.language" select="'ja'"/> <xsl:param name="l10n.gentext.default.language" select="'ja'"/> -Taro To unsubscribe from this list, send a post to docbook-apps-unsubscribe@lists.oasis-open.org.
