Subject: PassiveTex: non-critical error with &
Hi agian, in my DocBook XML I have the line <bibliodiv id="datenbankenoracle"><title>Datenbanken & Oracle</title> The ampersand in this line causes the following error blizzard with the FO-PassiveTex backend: [exec] (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/psnfss/t1phv.fd) [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@tempa [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@tempa [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@tempa [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@tempa [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@tempa [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@tempa [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@temp@A [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@temp@A [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@temp@B [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@temp@B [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@temp@A ... and so on, until: [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@temp@B [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@temp@A [exec] ./Handbuch.fo:670: Illegal parameter number in definition of \Hy@temp@A [exec] (That makes 100 errors; please try again.) [exec] No pages of output. [exec] Transcript written on Handbuch.log. When I change the & to "und" (="and"), the PDF is produced without errors. What am I missing (this is not a critical error though, just a blemish)? I use: SuSE Linux 8.1 Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2-b28) Xalan Java 2.4.1 docbook-xsl-1.62.0 passivetex-2002.8.11-15 (SuSE RPM) Regards, Gisbert Amm http://web.de/
