Subject: profiling docbook-like documents
Hi, I tried to do two-step profiling using profile.xsl from the 1.65.1 stylesheets, and it generated a file of type "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.2//EN". However, the source file is of a docbook-slides type, with all kinds of extra stuff inside the DOCTYPE declaration. Would it be possible to write profile.xsl such that the original doctype is preserved? Or to allow the user to specify the doctype, including parameter entities? (Or no doctype at all, greetings from Relax-NG.) It is really more a question of aesthetics; the conversion works, it's just the intermediate file that's not valid with respect to the given doctype.
