So you could do this: <section> <title>The dog program</title> <refentry> <refnamediv> <refname>dog</refname> <refpurpose>better than cat </refpurpose> </refnamediv> <refsect1> <title>Description</title> <para>...</para> </refsect1> </refentry> </section> That is, make the Refentry a child of a Section. --Mike
