Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] XHTML output
Hi Jason, I'm not sure the Website stylesheets will meet your requirements. All the website stylesheets import the html version of the DocBook stylesheets, not the xhtml version. So they output HTML 4.01 transitional, not XHTML. You could copy the Website stylesheets and change the import statement paths from html to xhtml. There is more than one import statement, so you will have to take care to get them all. If you do that, then you will get XHTML output with a DOCTYPE. The second problem is that the XHTML stylesheet does not output strict XHTML. It outputs transitional XHTML, and there is no option to make it strict.
