Subject: RE: [dss-x] Initial draft of the Visual Signature profile
Hello Leonard, Follows some my comments on your raised issues: - The digital signature value is indeed not applicable to PDF, but may be applicable to other document formats such as the one that is used in the Austrian Federal Chancellery. - Position - I though to elaborate this issue deeply in the next detailed stage. This parameter has strong relationship to the actual document type. - Signature Field ID - This issue should be elaborated as well in the detailed stage. I think a string value will be compatible with any existing and future document type. - Visual Signature Configuration and Policy - I think this parameter is very important in the case of submitting a document to the signature server so that the service will know how to generate the visual signature. This parameter should indicate which components are required to participate in the visual signature as well as their position in the visual signature box.
