Subject: RE: [legalxml-courtfiling] OASIS Electronic Court Filing Monthly Conference Calls
Hi Robin, The 12:00 p.m. Eastern time for the monthly conference call is just as easy for me as the previous time. As for the frequency of the call, it makes no difference to me but if we don't have enough substantive agenda items to fill a monthly call or the items can wait, then I think every other month would make the most sense. There's little reason to have people call in to discuss agenda items that can wait until the following month, at which point additional agenda items may have been added. And the TC is currently not working under any deadlines. Just my two cents. I'm fine either way. When we were actively working on the 4.0 update, if I recall correctly, attendance was consistently good. The same holds true when there have been other action items that the TC has been responsible for, such as outreach efforts. However, when there are no specific action items, it seems as if attendance falls. There have been a number of issues--lack of attendance, mis-communication on time, and problems with the conference call provider. We currently have a conference call scheduled each month on the second Tuesday, at 12:00 noon Eastern Time. That's 11:00 a.m. Central, 10:00 a.m. Mountain, and 9:00 a.m. Pacific. Our next call is on March 9, 2010. My questions are simple: 1. Do we want to continue to pursue monthly calls? If not, would every two months be better, or is having it on your calendar every month preferable? 2. What can we do to improve attendance--I can provide donuts, but I'll be the only one eating them :-)) 3. I need some help here. . . what do you folks want to do? Please reply to this message, so I know what you all are thinking. There are 9 voting members besides myself, so I am looking for 9 replies!
