OASIS: New Website

OASIS Members,

This morning, we launched a new version of the OASIS Website. The new site
incorporates an updated brand identity, significantly improved content
architecture, and new features.

Changes include:
- Home page access to all OASIS TCs
- Home page access to all specifications and documents
- New members-only content
- Press clippings
- Better compliance
and much more.

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize several members of the
OASIS staff for their dedication, creativity and long hours:
- Sharon Burbine, Webmaster
- Carol Geyer, Director of Communications
- Scott McGrath, Member Accounts Manager
- Jeff Lomas, Manager Technology Services
- Sean Scanlon, System Administrator

As you well know, any website is a work in progress. The OASIS staff worked
very hard to make this the best possible site, but there is always room for
improvement.  So we welcome -- and encourage --- your feedback.

In the near future, our plans include improved access/authoring capabilities
for TC chairs, incorporating more XML into the site, additional content, and
links to content that will appear on the new version of the XML.ORG site.
