OASIS UDDI Specification TC Announced

OASIS announced a new technical committee to advance the Universal
Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) specification for Web
services. UDDI enables companies and applications to dynamically find
and use Web services using preferred applications. The OASIS UDDI
Specification Technical Committee is the first committee created within
the OASIS UDDI Member Section, a group formed as a result of the recent
UDDI.org transition to OASIS.

HL7, SWIFT, VCA, and e.centre Join OASIS UBL Liaisons

Data standards organizations representing health care, banking,
prescription eyewear, and supply chain management have become the latest
industry groups to appoint representatives to the OASIS Universal
Business Language (UBL) Technical Committee, which defines standard XML
business forms for electronic commerce.

The ebXML Messaging Service Specification V2.0 has been approved by the
OASIS membership as an OASIS Standard. Congratulations to the OASIS
ebXML Messaging TC, chaired by Ian Jones, for all their efforts.
