OASIS Technical Advisory Board Nominations open

OASIS is now accepting nominations for four open seats on our Technical Advisory Board (TAB).  

The OASIS TAB supports the Consortium's technical agenda by providing input to the OASIS Board of Directors and guidance to our TCs. The TAB identifies topics for standardization work at OASIS that would be beneficial for industry. It assists the formation and progress of TCs by offering review and guidance on scope and deliverables and by recommending areas of collaboration between related TCs and external groups.

OASIS Sponsor and Contributor member organizations are encouraged to nominate qualified individuals who are committed to serving on the TAB. Nominations must be made or authorized by the Primary representative of the member organization by 4 April 2003. Nominations may be emailed to nominations@oasis-open.org or sent to OASIS headquarters via fax or postal mail. Submissions should be received in our office by midnight (EST).

NOMINATION PROCESS
Nomination is a 2 step process:
1.	Nominations from member companies should be sent to nominations@oasis-open.org Faxed or postal mail submission can be sent, see below for address.  The nomination should come from, or be approved by the Primary Representative.
2.	To be considered, applicants must submit a biography and a letter to the OASIS membership describing their interest in serving, as well as their qualifications. The letter may also include opinions on future directions for OASIS and ideas for technical activities. Members will review these materials via the OASIS website and vote for those individuals they believe most capable of providing technical guidance to the organization. Applicants should be willing to commit to monthly meetings, but otherwise required time and travel should be at a minimum.

Nominations for the OASIS Board of Directors will open 15 April 2003.
