Nominations for Board of Directors Close in 3 Days!

OASIS members voted in favor of modifying the Consortium's Bylaws to
increase the Board of Directors to eleven, including one Appointed Director
position held by the current President. The three newly-created OASIS Board
seats will be filled through a special election. Nominations will be
accepted until 9 October.

OASIS UDDI Specification TC Approves Technical Note

A technical note providing guidelines to register different versions of
value sets for use in UDDI versions 2 and 3 has been approved by the OASIS
UDDI Specification TC. UDDI value sets enable businesses to find each other.

Review SPML v1.0 Committee Draft Until 16 October

Members of OASIS and the public are invited to review the OASIS Committee
Draft of the Service Provisioning Markup Language (SPML) v1.0. Following the
30-day review, the specification may be formally submitted to OASIS members
for consideration as an OASIS Standard.
