2007 Board and TAB elections open now

OASIS Members,

The 2007 Board and TAB election ballots are now open. As a member of OASIS,
you have input in the review and election of our Board of Directors and
Technical Advisory Board (TAB). I encourage you to take advantage of this
opportunity and help select the leaders who will hold a Board and TAB seat
until 2009.  The ballot closes 15 June.

You and your fellow members of OASIS have nominated a very impressive slate
of candidates from which you can choose. The candidates provide a great
variety of perspectives from consultant to CEO, candidates for reelection
and candidates with new points of view.  We have candidates from several
continents, with equally diverse technical expertise.  All the candidates
deserve your review and consideration.

All OASIS members may review the Board candidates at

candidates at http://www.oasis-open.org/private/elections/2007tab/  Your

If you work for a Sponsor or Contributor member and are not the Primary or
Voting contact representative for your organization, you should share your
views on the candidates with your Primary and Voting contact.  You may find

All members can share their views on the candidates and OASIS election
process by email to the Member Discuss list
oasis-member-discuss@lists.oasis-open.org .  All members may post freely to
