Subject: RE: FW: OAXAL Webinar
Hi Andrea, I do need the webinar description to set a date and begin outreach --
Let's start with a date and a very compelling message; here is a good example
from a past webinar: OASIS invites you to attend a free,
30-minute webinar outlining the upcoming activities of the new DITA
Pharmaceutical Content Subcommittee. The group is bringing together
pharmaceutical documentation experts from all regions to define DITA topics and
maps, as well as associated metadata and terminology. The output of this
Committee will address good practices as well as proposed DITA specialization;
all stakeholders are strongly encouraged to be represented. The webinar will provide examples of how the
group’s recommendations may be used to streamline the creation of
documentation supporting a product for scientific and regulatory purposes
throughout its lifecycle. While the actual scope and schedule will be
determined by the Committee, some of the early topics may include: - ICH Common Technical Document; - FDA Structured Product Labeling; - EU Product Information Management; and - Clinical Trial Protocol and Study Reports.
Who should attend: Anyone with an interest in participating in
or monitoring the work of the DITA Pharmaceutical Content Subcommittee
including: * Medical and technical writers for
pharmaceutical companies * Information technology architects with
specialization in content and document management * Researchers who have expertise in the
design of drug development programs, Reference links: * DITA Pharmaceutical Content SC Statement
of Work http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/200905/pdf00000.pdf
* OASIS DITA Technical Committee http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/dita/ * OASIS Membership http://www.oasis-open.org/join/categories.php I don't need the entire slideset yet. Can we set the presenters date and
the description now? Best, Dee Schur, Senior Manager - Standards Advocate OASIS: Advancing open standards for the information society http://www.oasis-open.org +1.978.667.5115 x211 -----Original Message----- Hi Dee, It has taken quite a while, but last Friday the OAXAL TC agreed the content of the webinar. The presentation is too big (4.7Mb) to be accepted by the OASIS mail gateway. Is there any other way I can send
it to you? 45 minutes would be ideal for the webinar. The presentation itself
takes about 35 minutes leaving 10 minutes for Q&As. Best Regards, AZ > AZ > > On 30/04/2010 22:46, Dee Schur wrote: >> Please send along a description as soon as you have it
