Thomas, There seems to be a lot of confusion here, many emails are overlapping, and statements are being taken out of context. As Dee suggests, we should discuss this on the Committee's call Tuesday. That sounds a bit too much like inventing a solution (the fund) after creating a problem yourself. I've just been lurking here for some months, so correct me if I'm wrong, but the ODF Adoption Commttee was started under OASIS because it was practical. I see no real reasons why we could not just move it to the fellowship or some such place. Now, I don't want to suggest doing such a thing, mind you. I'm more concerned that Carol now makes conclusions based on the adoption team being under OASIS. Which is leaping to conclusions as far as I can see. In other words; $300 is a pretty darn steep price to pay for just being on a mailinglist able to 'compare notes'. For those that don't see the irony; let me be even clearer; a goal of any mailinglist is to do exactly that; compare notes. Every fool can start a mailinglist for free. So your mail means you are essentially pricing yourself out of the market. -- Thomas Zander
