2.) Update on ODF 1.2 and 'what next?'

Rob briefed TC members on progress of
ODF 1.2 and summarized the work items being considered for ODF 1.3. The
goal is to focus on 'change tracking' and to produce a CD01 by September
2011.
3.) Focus on Action Item review -

The action items were reviewed. Further
work on the podcast series is continuing. A podcast interview with Suresh
Chande from Nokia is planned within the next month.
4.) Update on ODF tooling with a focus
on the 'Simple Java API for ODF' http://odftoolkit.org/projects/simple/pages/Home

Rob reviewed the Simple Java API for
ODF project.
5.) ODFcon - open discussion (cont'd)
Louis may chair a separate conference
call on this topic soon.
6.) News & Roundtable
Alan briefed the TC members on
the new AttachMate Group structure. He is continuing within the SuSE business
unit, also the business supporting developers working on LibreOffice.
There is an ODF Plug-fest now scheduled
for Berlin on July 14 -15, 2011. The Web site is being put together with
formal announcement in the next week or so. The ODF Plug-fest/Berlin has
good gov't support. and is being sponsored by the Ministry of the
Interior and Ministry of Economics.
