Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (OFFICE-3584) Public Comment:PRD02 - nonsensical text
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3584?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=23907#action_23907 ] Andreas Guelzow commented on OFFICE-3584: ------------------------------------------ If there weren't any bullets the sentence would make perfect sense. With the bullets the structure implied by the bullets collides with the structure of the sentence. So I do thin kthat Alex Brown is quite right that something needs to be corrected here. I think there are two options: Option 1: delete all bullets (the bullets only, retain the sentence.) Option 2: Reformulate: If ● a foreign element has a <text:h> or <text:p> ancestor element, and ● it is a child element of an element for which the OpenDocument schema permits the inclusion of character data, and ● the OpenDocument schema permits the inclusion of character data for all its ancestors up to the <text:p> or <text:h> element ancestor element, then... I prefer my Option 1. > Public Comment: PRD02 - nonsensical text > ---------------------------------------- > > Key: OFFICE-3584 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-3584 > Project: OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Conformance > Affects Versions: ODF 1.2 CD 06 > Reporter: Robert Weir > Priority: Minor > > Copied from office-comment list > Original author: Alex Brown <alexb@griffinbrown.co.uk> > Original date: 20 Dec 2010 08:17:29 -0000 > Original URL: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-comment/201012/msg00007.html -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
