Subject: ODF TC Chat log 19 Dec. 2016
Greetings! The chat log for the ODF TC teleconference 19 Dec 2016 anonymous morphed into Jos van den Oever anonymous morphed into Thorsten Patrick: 6 out of 10 Patrick: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-1437 Patrick: if cancel 26th Dec and 2nd of Jan. next meeting would be 9th of January 2017 Patrick: Pat to cancel 26th of Dec 2016 and 2nd of January 2017, next meeting 9th of January 2017 Patrick: Defer Office-1437 to 9th of January 2017 Patrick: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-1520 Andreas J Guelzow: I just joined the call... Patrick: data styles are different from table-cell styles, the latter having background color, etc., which would be irrelevant for a data style Patrick: Hello Andreas! Patrick: data: family name of styles for data. Patrick: Patrick prepare proposal and put on agenda Jos van den Oever: style:default-style and style:style are very similar, but the data-style-name attribute is only allowed on style:style atm Jos van den Oever: "In all other cases, or if a value for the formatting property has not been found by any of the family specific rules, a default style 16.4 that has the same family as the style initially declared sets the value." Jos van den Oever: Andreas: you can set the default cell style for a table which *could* set a data style. (as a workaround in 1.2) Andreas J Guelzow: Jos: not quite: the default-style provides the data style even if other parts of the style are set, the default cell style is only used if no part of a cell style is set. Patrick: style:data-style-name 19.469.3 - add as attribute to style:default-style ?? Patrick: Write up adding style:data-style-name as proposal and schedule Patrick: http://tm.durusau.net/?p=73112 Patrick: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-1426 Patrick: Assigned to Patrick - Do proposal Patrick: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-1435 Patrick: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-1832 Patrick: expect proposal from Andreas Patrick: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-1870 Patrick: Need an element for soft-page breaks in spreadsheets but not necessarily this attribute - this is a signal to other applications Patrick: change Soft page breaks are only defined for text documents. -> Soft page breaks are only defined for text documents and speadsheets.
