Subject: Higher level ODF model
Greetings! Just a comment on the notion of a higher level view of ODF as an infoset. No objection so far as that goes because it is a *defined* infoset. I'm less confident about attempting a general infoset for all, even just, office documents. That's been tried before, it's called HyTime. ISO/IEC 10744:1992 Actually it was done twice, I have a copy of the first edition, which for various reasons was overtaken by a second edition, which was radically different. I know the authors in both cases (different authors) so venture no opinion on their relative merits. Suffice it to say it's not a place anyone goes willingly. Hope everyone is a the start of a great week!
