Subject: Speaking Opportunity
I apologize if this is the wrong forum to send this email. I am leading a track in an upcoming conference called "SOA for eGovernment 2007". The conference will be held 1 – 2 October in McLean, VA. The title of my track is "SOA for Self-Healing Scale-out Storage and Computing Fabrics". I plan to schedule three talks at 20 minutes each, followed by a panel discussion.
If anyone on this list would like to submit a proposal, feel free to do so. While I am in a position to decide who presents, every effort will be made to accommodate all proposals. Further, and perhaps moreover, time is short; so I need the proposals asap. Interested people should have their proposal emailed to me (chances@saic.com) by COB Friday, 31 August.
By way of background, I offer the following. Service Component Architecture (SCA) is playing an essential role in my work with a company called Paremus. They use SCA to build systems/services composed of OSGi bundles that are distributed across a logical/physical compute fabric. Open CSA is a logically subsumes SCA to provide the larger model. I think proposals that illustrate / discuss Open CSA as the larger SOA management /implementation model are completely relevant.
As for conference details, I'm gaining familiarity myself; however, you can find most of the information about it at http://colab.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?SOAforEGovernment_2007_10_0102 .
Thank you!
Sam
