Inter-SCA Liaison Committee
<Sanjay>
Ashok wants all the chairs to suffer
Action: Jeffm to determine if steering cttee will permit liaison cttee to adjust quorum rules to allow tc representation
Resolution: M:Ashok S:Rowley The two chairs of this tc represent us at the Inter-SCA Liaison cttee
Namespace URI and Dereferencing
Chapman:
Steering cttee reviewed and approved the recommendation referenced in the attachment referenced indirectly in the agenda
... Once we agree to adopt this, then we have to officially ask tc admin to establish the namespaces
Sanjay reviews the proposal
Sanjay:
proposal b is not relevent to this tc
... third part of the proposal allows for a rddl formatted namespace document
TomR:
Who is responsible to prevent conflicts across these definitions
Sanjay:
I think that the Assembly TC can assure that there are no clashes
Resolution: M:Sanjay S:Rowley Proposal is adopted with the addition that this TC be responsible for resolving namespace conflicts. w/o
New Issue 11
Resolution: M:Rowley S:Ashok New issue Assembly-11 accepted w/o
Dieter:
I am not sure that this proposal will cause conflict with BPEL promotion scenarios
bob Dieter, did I get that right?
Action: PeterP will produce an updated proposal for further discussion and include the wired by impl case
Rowley:
Let the editors worry about getting the caps / lcase exactly right
<charlton>
We need consistent captialisation of keywords - IMO this is soemthing for the TC to decide
AOB
Rowley:
We can discuss RFC 2119 targets
.. one of the open qustions is if the assembly spec can have as its targets items covered by other specifications.
... in the past we have considered the assembly spec to be the coordination point.
... it may be appropriate for the assembly spec to define requirements for other specifications
Chapman:
I think that is an excellent area for discussion
... I think that we should define those conformance targets and define the rules.
... Key points include bindings, languages, concrete policy artifacts.
Rowley:
I think that we will not include any RFC 2119 requirements on the human elements such as developer and developer
<Dieter Koenig>
Bob, some background in response to your question (ASSEMBLY-6 discussion a couple of lines up): WS-BPEL processes can dynamically
assign EPRs to partnerLinks - in this case the corresponding SCA reference carries the wiredByImpl="yes" and multiplicity="0..0"
attributes - such references may also be promoted - so the resolution of ASSEMBLY-6 should take this scenario into account.
Please take into account the change from eropean summertime for next weeks call.
