Subject: RE: [set] Re: CCTS and HL7

Asuman,

As additional note - I just published an example of the CAM dictionary for LEXS / NIEM to the CAM TC.

Folks working in healthcare may want to review what NIEM has - because that includes the OASIS EDXL emergency domain now (NIEM 2.1), and also other healthcare and support services related information models.

This is part of the project work we are doing for NIEM Tools support with CAM and the dictionary format uses CCTS.  Actually the CCTS concepts, Asuman, that you use for the tools you have developed - so you will see the ABIE, BBIE and ASBIE labels following that approach in the LEXS dictionary part of the spreadsheet:

http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=36738
Because this all works in Excel its easy to use and share - but it also works with the latest CAM blueprints and expander tool - to assemble exchange schema structures directly from the dictionary definitions into CAM templates.  We have an example now of that working for OASIS EDXL that is part of the latest CAM pre-release download.

We have also developed a set of tools for importing ERwin models into CAM and generating the dictionary.  I will provide more details on that once we have the documentation available.

Enjoy, DW

Dear Konstantin,

Many thanks for your email. Enclosed please find a paper where we
describe our experience. Please let me know if you have any further
comments or questions.

Another point, I would appreciate if you could kindly direct all the
correspondences
related with UN/CEFACT CCTS to the OASIS SET TC mailing list.

Many thanks and best regards,

Asuman

We're using UN/CEFACT CCTS modeling principles in the construction of our data model. Because social care in Finland is rather strongly connected both technologically and semantically with health care, I'm interested to know whether CCTS trials in health care have been successful.
