Subject: Groups - Tran- WS TC meeting modified
Tran- WS TC meeting has been modified by Peter Reynolds (peter.reynolds@bowneglobal.ie). Date: Thursday, 29 January 2004 Time: 11:00am - 12:00pm Eastern Time Event Description: International Dial-In: +44 118 376 9023 UK, Ireland Internal Dial-In: x40290 UK National Dial-In: 0870 550 3090 Meeting ID: 58633 Agenda: 1/ Roll call 2/ Minutes of last meeting 3/ Second draft of WSDL see http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/trans-ws/200401/msg00002.html 4/ draft specification see http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/trans-ws/200401/msg00004.html http://www.oasis-open.org/archives/trans-ws/200401/msg00003.html 5/ AOB Minutes: 1/ Roll call There were 5 members present as recorded in Kavi. Apologies: Andrzey 2/ Minutes of last meeting The minutes of the last meeting were approved as a correct record. 3/ Second draft of WSDL Stephen introduced the second draft of the WSDL which has sent to the TC. This accommodates the requestQuote (type A) operation. Stephen mentioned that at the Washington meeting the need for project tickets was raised. We had a short discussion on this and there was a consensus that this would be a good idea. Gerard also raised the issue of having an identifier which details the file. He stressed that this was important in projects he works on where there is a large number of files. There was some debate over this and it was decided that Gerard would write a proposal for how a file reference would be used. This reference will be a URI and we will specify the places where it can be used. 4/ draft specification Peter mentioned that he had discussed Andrzey's submission with him in advance of the meeting. Anrdzej had mentioned the possibility of having these hosted by Oasis. The main issue was to have someone look after future updates to these schemas. Gerard suggested that he would ask colleagues who sit on ISO committee what their suggestion would be for hosting these. The draft document has been edited to match the suggestions made by Bill, Stephen and Peter. We are waiting for more text from Andrzey, the security section from Gerard and when this is finished the introduction from Peter. The plan is that we would have the draft document sent out on February 9th and discussed on February 12th. The document will be sent to Arle for a language review after this draft phase. 5/ AOB - none View event details: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/trans-ws/event.php?event_id=3821 PLEASE NOTE: If the above link does not work for you, your email application may be breaking the link into two pieces.
