3/ Implementation of specification 
We will have a Web meeting demonstration of the work being done by the time at the LRC. 
Kevin gave us a demonstration of the work he has done to date in creating the reference implementation of the specification. This showed the process of submitting jobs using the Web services. 

Kevin is going to complete work on the Web services over the next few weeks. He will need TC members to answer his queries quickly in order to complete this.

The stage after this is to implement a version of the Web services where we can show it working as it might do in industry.

Kevin was congratulated on this work.

4/ Ignite project 
Kevin and Peter outlined the work of Ignite. This is looking at creating a Localisation Factory which would do conformance testing for localisation standards including XLIFF and Trans WS. 

A meeting is being organised in Dublin at the beginning of December. This will be comprise of a day for workshops from XLIFF and Trans WS and a day for a workshop on Ignite. Peter and Kevin will do the Trans WS workshop together with Peter dealing with the work of the TC and the specification and Kevin demonstrating what the LRC are doing with this and the reference implementation.

5/ Next steps
The following next steps were agreed:
Kevin will complete the work on the reference implementation. 
The feedback from him will be used to complete the specification. 
We will work towards having a specification which can be put forward as a committee specification during November. 
There will be a peer review period as part of this.
We are aiming to have the specification in the peer review stage by the Ignite meeting in December.
