Subject: RE: [ubl-dev] UBL related to UNeDocs
Dear Magnus, Happy to see your interest in UNeDocs. Please find in attachment the official announcement of the launching of UNeDocs Project within the UN/CEFACT Forum. As you'll read it, OASIS and UBL are explicitly mentioned as stakeholder of the project. During the UN/CEFACT Forum meeting next week in Kuala Lumpur, actual work on UNeDocs will start hosted by TBG2 working group. Project leadership is lead by Sue Probert (sue.probert@dial.pipex.com) and Micheal Dill (dill@gefeg.com). So I'd suggest you contact them directly if you want to collaborate and participate to this project. You'd be more than welcome. Otherwise you can also check from time to time the UN/CEFACT Forum TBG website at http://www.disa.org/cefact-groups/tbg/index.cfm Kind regards, Jean-Luc Champion UN/CEFACT Forum TBG Chair -----Message d'origine----- De : Magnus Palmer [mailto:magnus.palmer@alfalaval.com] Envoyé : mardi 8 mars 2005 11:03 À : ubl-dev@lists.oasis-open.org Objet : [ubl-dev] UBL related to UNeDocs Dear all, I'm currently "mapping" my companies EDIFACT subset to an XML standard and my choice fell upon UBL. (If anyone has a reference to a similar work I'd gladly hear about it.) However I also found the UNeDocs project but can't find any information if there is any relation or cooperation between the UBL and UNeDocs. (I've spent three hours searching for this information.) How does the UBL relate to the work done by UNeDocs? (http://www.unece.org/etrades/unedocs/welcome.htm) What I mean is if anyone know (maybe I should ask UNeDocs instead) if the XML modelling done by UNeDocs is anyway related (or rather will be) related to UBL or vice versa. With hopes that I made myself clear.
