Subject: Re: [ubl-dev] Implementation of different party roles in UBL
Dear all
I have a implementation question regarding different Party roles in UBL:
Use-Case
Company A has made an agreement with “Supplier” to buy office-paper – they are legal company who is responsible to pay the doc and entitled to claim back VAT
Company A has several subsidiaries (including company B) who are allowed to order paper under this agreement so that payer will still be A.
Company A has outsourced accounting services to company C who executes the AP process on behalf of A and should be the party who physically receives the invoice.
Looking at specification on page: http://docs.oasis-open.org/
ubl/os-UBL-2.1/UBL-2.1.html#S- I would go for following:PARTY-ROLES
‘Customer Party’.’Accounting Customer’ = A
‘Customer Party’.’Delivery’ = B
‘Customer Party’.’Buyer’ = B
But where I should state company C, is it - ‘Party’.’Receiver’?
Thanks
