Subject: Re: [ubl-dev] When using Genericode Code lists...
UBL 2.3 draft (and come to that UBL 2.2) ZIP contain a list of those gc files that changed from the previous list, NOT the complete list. So the 2.3 draft list is:-
AllowanceChargeReasonCode-2.3.gc BinaryObjectMimeCode-2.3-incl-deprecated.gc CountryIdentificationCode-2.3.gc LanguageCode-2.3.gc PackagingTypeCode-2.3-incl-deleted.gc TransportEquipmentTypeCode-2.3.gc UnitOfMeasureCode-2.3.gc ChannelCode-2.3.gc CurrencyCode-2.3.gc PackagingTypeCode-2.3.gc PaymentMeansCode-2.3.gc TransportModeCode-2.3.gc UnitOfMeasureCode-2.3-incl-deleted.gc and yet 2.0 shipped with 89 code lists just in cl/gc/default, and then there are two other cl/gc directories. Are all the old 2.0 gc files to be ignored?

So no need to combine from all past releases. Also keep in mind that they are there as a "suggestion" and you are free to use whatever codelist you want for your own specific implementation. Kees D. should the current list of code be generated from merging all the files from all releases (from 2.0 on) or should I be using just the most recent version? Also some of the files mention in their file names that they include deprecated codes, what is the deprecation policy and therefore when will they be removed? |
