Title: PSC Meeting Minutes - 27th Feb 2006
Present:
Sylvia Webb
Peter Borresen
Martin Forsberg
Mark Leitch
- ML reported that he had attended the TaxXML meeting in London last week.
- work has started to identify rules in accordance with the spreadsheet discussed in NY and provided by Stephen Green
- the task in hand for the TaxXML group is to identify global, tax type, inter-regional, intra-regional and domestic rules that can be included in the UBL 2.0 support package
- the TaxXML group requested that ML should observe their work and provide clarification of the UBL procurement elements when necessary.
- ML reported that the TaxXML group agreed with his point that UBL 2.0 procurement documents should be supported with strong recommendations as to their intended use
- the PSC has discussed this in the past in the ‘consolidated invoice’ scenario.
- the group examined and discussed the public review issues list with a view to identifying ‘showstoppers’ or points that needed further clarification
- there were no points that were unclear except:
- Stephen Green comment that too many BBIES are mandatory – ML to ask for examples of BBIEs that should not be mandatory
- Stephen Green comment re Transport Handling Unit – does this apply to the Public Review Draft – ML action to follow up
- Yukimori Saito request for a 2-3 month extension to the public review period (because of the complexity of the additional messages and elements
- ML to pass on request to Jon B
- there are browser issues re accessing the issues list (from public); IE shows all of the issues whereas not all are visible in Safari and Firefox browsers (on Mac)
- ML to report issues to Jon B
- the PSC had two further questions re. public review; ML to address both to Jon B
- is the group duty bound to consider issues posted to UBL DEV ?
- are comments posted via the OASIS voting package public comments page being posted to the issues list ?
Regards, Mark
Mark Leitch
