Thanks, My impression as that DAML-S is attempting to do more or less the same as UDDI but within the context of the Semantic Web and RDF - as such it has the same potential relationship with taxonomies as UDDI, i.e. it doesn't define a structure for taxonomies per se but would work with appropriate parts of the semantic web e.g. OWL rather than define its own. Is this a misinterpretation?
