I understand that you can use ws-sp for ws-trust, but do
you have to implement ws-trust to show that you can implement ws-security using
ws-sp? The current document is focused on ws-trust scenarios, issuing token
requests and using those issued tokens. Can't there be a demonstration of ws-sp
interoperability that doesn't require those ws-trust scenarios? Just a web
service that requires signed parts, timestamps, supporting username tokens, etc.
and consumers that can produce the required messages.
Tony
What would expect to test with just SP and no other specification involved as
SP describes the wire formats for WS-Security, WS-Trust, WS-SecureConversation
?

I was thinking there would be a separate interop for ws-sp than
ws-trust. Is there going to be an opportunity for demonstrating interoperability
for just ws-sp?
