Subject: RE: [ws-sx] PR Issue 7: Editorial - RSTRC is not described inexemplar in Trust
PR Issue 7 From: Marc Goodner
[mailto:mgoodner@microsoft.com] Protocol: ws-trust ws-trust-1.3-spec-cd-01 http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-sx/ws-trust/200512/ws-trust-1.3-spec-cd-01.pdf Artifact: spec Type: editorial Title: Editorial - RSTRC is not described in exemplar in
Trust Description: The RSTRC is mentioned in passing in the STS framework
section 3.2 on the RSTR. It is again mentioned in the processing rules for the
RSTC. The last mention is in the Issuance binding section 4.3 on the RSTR. From
there on it appears in this section for the examples that show the RSTR. It
continues to appear throughout the rest of the document where appropriate. However there is not a separate section with a description
and exemplar for the RSTRC in Trust. Given that this element needs to be used
so much in normal exchanges, providing a link to it in the TOC seems warranted.
I do believe this is an editorial change as the element is already described in
the text elsewhere and that there has been interop using it. Proposal: Add a short new section (Returning a Security Token
Collection) to describe this element between section 4.2 Request Security Token
Collection, and section 4.3 Returning a Security Token. Related Issues: None |
