Subject: Re: [wsrp-wsia] [I#111] getMarkup called for MINIMIZE
I think we do want well defined semantics for each of the window states. I would prefer to leave the MINIMIZED as is and have vendors use a customized window state (ICONIZED?) for the suggested extension. Gil Tayar <Gil.Tayar@webcol To: "'wsrp-wsia@lists.oasis-open.org'" lage.com> <wsrp-wsia@lists.oasis-open.org> cc: 10/15/2002 02:23 Subject: [wsrp-wsia] [I#111] getMarkup called for MINIMIZE AM Status: Active Topic: Interface Class: Minor Technical Raised by: Andre Kramer Date Added: 15-Oct-2002 Section: Interfaces/7.7.2 Title: getMarkup called for MINIMIZE Description: "free to include non-visible data such as jscript or hidden forms". If a getMarkup(windowState.MINIMIZED ...) can generate any mark up at all why not just let the consumer deal with details of what is included for aggregation? E.g. Portal may want to show a very small pre-view bitmap of the content. <RDT>I would prefer this be reworked into a suggested change in the text that people could then directly debate.</RDT>
