Subject: Introduction to new OAXAL Technical Committee proposal
Dear TC Members,
We are looking for interested parties and proposers for a new OASIS
Candidate Reference Architecture TC: OAXAL (Open Architecture for XML
Authoring and Localization). OAXAL encompasses the key Open Standards
from OASIS, W3C, Unicode and LISA OSCAR in one elegant seamless
architecture.
OAXAL provides an Open Standards based framework for the whole of the
document lifecycle, providing a cost efficient architecture for the
document production process.
The OAXAL proposal is based on the seminal XML.com article:
http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2007/02/21/oaxal-open-architecture-for-xml-auth
oring-and-localization.html
The proposed charter for the OAXAL TC can be found:
http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dgqqtk4r_665czq7x6dr
Please do not hesitate in contacting JoAnn or myself if you wish to
participate in this TC.
Best Regards,
Andrzej Zydron and JoAnn Hackos
