II. Technical work

 

A. ISO standard

 

No updates

 

B. XLIFF 2.2 spec updates

 

The example in "5.9.8.2.2 Inline Elements" (https://github.com/oasis-tcs/xliff-xliff-22/issues/22)

• Mihai will create a PR

 

Description for a resource item

• Yoshito did not create a spec issue filed in Github before the meeting. Yoshito will make it ready before next TC call

 

Plural/Gender support with XLIFF module

• Mihai wondered if this work is done in branch or fork. Rodolfo/Yoshito think either way works OK.
• Mihai plans to convert the current proposal in Google Doc into Doc Book format. Rodolfo provided general instruction to author the specification.

 

C. Next steps to review the new spec.

• Rodolfo will generate HTML/PDF again after the fix for 5.9.8.2.2 Inline Element is done.
