The document provides some background on applications for our work in EMIX and Energy Interop.

The document sketches a vision of the smart grid that employs dynamic forward prices and transactions (transactive energy) for grid management with high penetration of Variable Energy Resources (VERS) such as wind and solar.

These comments have been submitted to FERC in response to a request for comments in Docket RM10-11.
