Description

This document is the result of FEMA processes to revise existing ICS forms. This version is in "public comment" in December 2009 - Jan. 15 2010. Which forms and what revisions have taken place are not indicated and are unknown. Note that several comments have been posted so this is obviously not the final, and things do change over time. Often the comments focus simply on form format and sometimes names of fields. Content has changed little in the past (perhaps ask Rich Van Dame).

"The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is requesting public comments on revisions to the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) Forms Booklet, FEMA 502-2. The ICS Forms Booklet was developed to assist emergency response personnel in the use of ICS and corresponding documentation during incident operations. Please send comments to John Walsh at john.walsh@vanderbilt.edu, no later than Jan. 11, 2010.

Consider whether SitRep committee should step back, review and provide comment? My recommendation is NOT to do this since comments are solicited primarily from practitioners. Recommend using this version as input into the process, but focus on key information needs that tend to be stable. Perform a compare of this vs. our current version for the sub-set of forms addressed for EDXL-SitReps.
