Use Case : Associate 2 Semantic Objects using a Lattice Class
Description This use case envisions allowing 2 types of Semantic Objects  to be associated using a Lattice Association .
 
The meaning of the resulting association would be much more clearer and precise.
Actors : Domain Expert , Content Publisher , Registry

Basic Flow :
  • Domain experts publishes a Semantic Object #1 e.g. Instance of Controlled Vocabulary
  • Domain experts publishes a Semantic Object #2 e.g. Instance of Taxonomy
  • Content Publisher publishes an Association that associates Semantic Object #1 and Semantic Object #2 using a Lattice class reference as an associationType

Assumptions:
  • An Association class is used to associate the two class instances

Examples: (1) The semantic management of a "citizen-centered" content model will use a Lattice containing a controlled vocabulary and perhaps multi-level taxonomy describing .gov functions, products, and services in terms that are meaningful to the public

(2) The semantic management of a UDEF (Universal Data Element Framework) Class of application will use a Lattice containing a BOM (Bill of Materials) and  an RDFS model of Product-specific concepts.
