The meeting started late as the original conference number did not work and James Tauber was unable to make it at the last minute.
We reviewed the two proposals and on set of comments:
Jeff Parham – presented his proposed changes
Christine Tomlinson – Presented her proposed changes
There was discussion about whether there needed to be one specification or should this be broken into separate specifications.
There was discussion on our goals, and interoperability
Some of the items that may be in separate documents were:
Transport mechanisms
Security approaches
Versioning schemes
We also discussed potential timelines. There were questions on what the OASIS process timelines that we needed to be concerned with. A face-to-face was discussed but nothing was finalized.
Christine said she would distribute an approach for security that was either a draft or a iPlanet document.
Everyone was asked to put together a potential list of documents and their potential goals for each document.
