James chaired the call and addressed the issues in version order.

James gave an overview of the history of DSML V1

We all agreed that DSML.ORG should just re-direct to the Directory Service TC page on OASIS. (When we checked it has been recently done)

We also agreed that we should post the DSML V1 specification on the OASIS Directory Services TC page for historical reference.

Contact Karl Best and find the best way to keep the DSML V1 specification historically posted on our web site.

Next we talked of the status and process for DSML V2 including a possible interoperability event.

Contact Karl Best regarding what we could do to help ensure that DSML V2 gets enough votes.

Will circulate DSML and LDIF samples to allow interoperability testing. Winston will post these files on a new section on the DSTC web site.

Will Contact Carol Geyer of the OASIS PR to begin the development of a press release for the planned approval of the DSML V2 specification.

Lastly we talked about items that may be considered for DSML V3.

It was agreed that we would start an email thread to allow folks to input ideas. These would be captured in the email archive for now and will be consolidated as input to a DSML V3 specification at some time in the future.
