This group is hosted by OASIS as a service to its members. It is intended to provide an opt-in, member-to-member communication channel for matters of interest to the OASIS community.
This group and mail list offers OASIS members an open forum to comment on, solicit input for, and exchange ideas regarding topics of general interest to the OASIS community.
Discussion concerning OASIS strengths, opportunities for improvement, new areas of technical work, programs or locations for future events, and suggestions for expanded member services are just a few examples of the types of communications that belong in this forum. Corporate, product, or personal promotions and mass-distributed emails (spam) are not appropriate. Reasonable community spirit demonstrated by productive discourse is encouraged; flaming and personal attacks are not.
This list may be used to debate the merits or shortcomings of specifications up for public review or candidate OASIS Standards, however, those seeking formal Committee consideration should also submit their input via the designated review channel for each specification.
Likewise, while OASIS staff members will monitor this list, specific comments requiring staff response should be sent directly to the appropriate contact, as listed at http://www.oasis-open.org/who/contactus.shtml.
Any OASIS member may post to this list; archives are publicly accessible.
