Minutes from last week accepted.

F2F
Check website for info
Mike F: No net access if we're in the same room?
Charlie: Policy issue.
Yossi: Will we have a quorum at the meeting?
Thomas: Will check the list of those coming or attending by phone. If we don't have a quorum, we could queue up the votes for the Thursday call.

#92 Max size of a handle
3 choices: 1) <255 bytes 2) URI, <4K 3) Unlimited
Andre: Include refHandle in this limit? They include more info, and could be larger.
Gil: Can't we leave it vague for 1.0 and see how it goes?
Mike F: You mean unlimited? Gil: Yes
Mike F: meta-data to indicate length? Without it, unlimited would be the assumption.
Rich: So meta-data + unlimited is the fourth choice.
Bill Cox: We could discuss/vote at the F2F.
Alan: We have a lot to cover at the F2F, can we vote on this now?
Straw vote: 1) 3 2) 6 3) 4 4) 9

#96 Well-known URL param names
Rich: Any new param names?
Mike F: Will introduce a new one next week.

#18 Mandate use of initEnvironment
Mike F: Happy with the 'mandating' language, will have questions next week about semantics.
Vote on 'mandatory' nature: 24 Y 0 N 6 A

#42 Why does Consumer tell Producer about extensions?
Gil: Use cases? Why is this explicit?
Mike F: Is it a placeholder for well-defined things?
Rich: Yes.
Rich: Consensus could be that this should be kept?
Vote: Keep this field in the spec? 2 Y 18 N 10 A

#45 Signal state change in interaction?
Mike F: Sent an email to the list detailing points for discussion at the F2F. Wednesday, 10/23.
Gil: Consumer should always redirect on null navState.

#51 Naming scheme for binding tModel
Also use this scheme for factors, etc.
Gil: WSIA vs. WSRP? Suggest F2F discussion.
Rich: Could keep 'WSRP' as a placeholder. Shouldn't affect the decision to adopt the scheme itself?
Vote: 18 Y 2 N 10 A

#93 Payload extensibility mechanism
Charlie: What was the reason for an <any> 'object'?
Rich: Needed for deserialization capability for certain stacks.
Andre: Allows arrays of XML. content
Gil: WS-Security, et al embed the <any> at the top level, instead of a wrapper array.
Mike F: Could we set aside a morning time, so that David (in UK) can join on the phone.

#97 Caching mechanism
Mike F: Best to defer serious discussion on this to the F2F.
Rich F: Carsten will prepare a slide for the 'rules' based caching scheme, Gil will do the same for the invalidation scheme.

Tentative resolutions
107: MIME type for upload data
112: Comment on pseudo BNF
113: Property types should be QNames
