Welcome to our public information page, where we plan to
keep you apprised of the work of our committee.
The chair of the XML Conformance Committee is Mary
Brady of the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The team of volunteers participating in the work of the committee
includes employees of OASIS
member companies, individual OASIS members and invited
experts.
Charter
The OASIS XML Conformance Technical Committee provides a
forum where XML vendors, content providers, and users can
discuss issues that are pertinent to XML conformance and interoperability.
The objective of this committee is to develop tests and associated
documentation that can be used by developers and users alike
to determine whether a particular XML processor adheres to
the XML 1.0 (Second Edition) Recommendation.
As conformance tests are developed, questions arise concerning
the XML Recommendation and particular XML implementations.
This committee provides a process to discuss a particular
test case and a mechanism to input interpretation problems
to the W3C XML Core WG, who has responsibility for resolving
such issues.
All questions regarding interpretations of the XML test suite
should be forwarded to xml-editor@w3.org

This TC has both private and public email lists. The private
lists are for the use of TC members and other OASIS members
only. The public list is for the use of the public to make
comments on the work of the TC. For all lists you must be
a subscriber in order to post a message to the list. In order
to subscribe to or unsubscribe from any TC list go to http://lists.oasis-open.org/ob/adm.pl,
enter your email address, then select which lists you want
to subscribe to or unsubscribe from. The following are the

The XML Conformance Test Suite, v1.0, Second Edition
contains over 2000 test files and an associated test report.
The test report contains background information on conformance
testing for XML as well as test descriptions for each
of the test files included in this release.
This release includes an additional 1000 tests from
IBM as well as fixes to tests and/or test descriptions
to closely align the testsuite with the XML
1.0 (Second Edition) Recommendation. To view a list
