Chapter 80. Add a Company Membership

Overview

The Add a Company Membership tool allows administrators to add one or more memberships for a company. Only companies with a purpose of 'Member Company' are eligible for company memberships.

Note

Membership information and links to manage memberships will be available if:

  • Membership is 'on' and configured for this site

  • This individual's or company's purpose is set to 'Member'

How to use the Add a Company Membership tool

Choose Memberships

The company name and information about current company memberships is displayed. If this is the correct company, select the membership(s) you wish to add. If necessary, manually override the startdate for this membership.

Memberships Available to Add

Click the checkboxes for any membership you wish to add.

Start Date

Use this option to manually override the start date that would otherwise be applied automatically as the membership is processed, or leave it blank to have the effective date automatically calculated once the membership renewal process is complete.

Process

Process information is displayed for you to review.

If Kavi® Billing is installed and this is a fee-based membership type, links to Kavi® Billing will be displayed.

Memberships

The memberships you have selected are displayed, along with the duration of each membership.

Start Date

This will indicate a start date, or that the start date is to be set during regular membership processing.

Moderation

This field will be displayed for moderated membership types. You have the option of automatically approving all the memberships you have added at this time, or of placing them in the moderation queue.

Done

You have just added memberships for this company. The membership type, term, bill status and membership workflow state are displayed for you to review.
