Kavi® Members Help
Table of Contents
The Change Company Status tool allows administrators to change a company's membership status by activating or inactivating the membership. This is a quick way to deny a company access to the members-only area temporarily, or restore access to a deactivated company. Use this tool when you want to keep a company's information intact.
When you deactivate a company's membership, you deny that company access to the protected areas of the site. The company's personal information, workgroup affiliations and password are retained in the database, but the company can no longer access protected information.
Note
When deactivating a company, be sure you are familiar with your organization's privacy policy. If the policy requires all information of companies who have left the organization to be permanently deleted, use the Delete a company tool.
To restore access to a deactivated company, simply reactivate the company's membership.
Activate an inactive company to restore this company's access to your organization's web site.
Deactivate an active company to deny this company access to the web site.
Search for a company or set of companies by setting any or all of the optional fields to refine the search criteria. To view all available companies, leave the search fields set to the default values. If you set search criteria in more than one field, the results will only show companies that match all search criteria.
